I love Christmas and I love romance, so I consider myself so lucky to be able to write about both of them. When my editor asked me to have my characters offer seduction tips to readers, though, I was lost… Seduction tips? I’ve known my husband since I was sixteen! I haven’t consciously thought about seduction…ever, maybe.
So it meant research. And it meant thinking about the characters from A HINT OF WICKED, A TOUCH OF SCANDAL, and A SEASON OF SEDUCTION and thinking about how they would think of seduction. Ultimately, I was able to find enough seduction tips for the 12 days prior to the release of A SEASON OF SEDUCTION, as well as a few more, besides! Some of it is common sense (and I realize I’ve been doing it all along with my husband, blush!) and some of it was brand new for me, but here are the 12 days of seduction:
Do you have any seduction tips of your own to share? Post one here, and I’ll be giving away a copy of A SEASON OF SEDUCTION, plus an extra seductive bonus from Slumber Parties: Body Dew Strawberry Champagne After Bath Oil to one poster on October 10!
Enjoy…here’s wishing for lots of love and wonderful holidays for all of us!
(Oh, and P.S., don’t forget to check out my contest and freebies pages for even more goodies!)

This usually works at Chez Cochran: a nice
dinner (steak, baked potatoes, salad and
strawberry shortcake), soft music (jazz or
blues) and a nice glass of wine. All this
will guarantee that I’m putty in the man’s
hands by the end of the evening! LOL.

My husband’s job is very physical, so I find the best way to set up a seduction is by giving him a massage, complete with warm body oil and lit candles…works everytime, and the bonus is that I usually get a massage or foot rub in return 😉 I’m looking forward to learning some new tips here though!

I will put on one of my husbands button up tee shirts and bend over acting like I am picking up something off the floor. I then turn around and say something like- would you like to see more- he most always says yes.lol.. Sometimes I will put on one of his regular shirts and walk around the house acting like nothing and it seems to drive him crazy. Must just be a girl in her mans tee shirt..lol..

Seduction? I would create a romantic dinner and then as dessert perform a sexy striptease while walking backwards toward the room.

After 33 years of marriage, I only have to smile and make a few amorous comments and we’re “Good to go”!
Leaving love notes around helped in the past… just comments that made us feel appreciated and loved!

Being senior citizens and married 47 years now I guess my answer may sound pretty dull but I always give my hubby a pair of sexy shorts to wear at night and I have some sexy nightie to share with his shorts. Course during the day I make him a nice Christmas dinner with candle lights and his favorite dishes as I can still reach him thru his stomach. ha ha It may be best to say we do not look to be in our 60’s as I don’t want anyone to imagine two crippled old wrinkled people wearing these clothes. We are young looking so we are told by friends. ha ha We always try and do things together most of Christmas Day and the enjoy our decorated tree in the evening. susan L.

Thanks so much, everyone. What great tips! I need to write those down! LOL…
Valerie, my husband likes red too. What is it about red, I wonder?
Pat, it’s so true that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, isn’t it?
Cheryl, oh yes, my husband loves massages. Problem for me is that they put him to sleep, though! LOL!
Amy, I love that! I should try it sometime! 😉
Jeannette–okay, I admit I’ve tried the striptease thing before, but I felt silly, which ruined the whole mood. I think I just don’t have the confidence to pull that one off!
Laurie, that’s sweet! Love talk is never a bad thing. I like the idea of notes, too…that sounds so romantic.
Susan, I think sexy clothes, especially clothes you feel sexy in, are so important to get in the seductive mood. And you don’t sound wrinkled and old to me at all! You sound like a romantic happy couple. 🙂
Quilt Lady, I haven’t done candlelight for some time–It’s hard for us with the kids arguing about who gets to blow out the candles. But some night when we’re (miraculously) alone, I’m going to try doing that. It sounds soooo nice…
The winner, per random.org, was Quilt Lady! Please send me your snail mail address and I’ll get these right out to you. Thanks so much to everyone who responded. And happy seduction! 🙂
