The Sweetest Revenge

Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a fantastic holiday season!

Dawn Halliday has a new treat out for your reading pleasure this December! And it’s FREE until the 29th of December.

Here’s a letter from Dawn about how she was inspired to write this story. ;-)

Dear Reader:
We have all read wonderful stories about the handsome rakes and dashing scoundrels; the debauched dukes, the wicked earls, and the roguish viscounts. In these stories, the mad, bad aristocrats find the woman who ultimately tames them, who turns them into a monogamous man, a loving husband and father.

I have always wondered, though, what happened to all those women who came before that woman who tamed him? What happened to those poor souls he debauched and ruined? How did they survive the scandal? How did they go on after the rake left them behind?

This is the story of three women in that exact situation—three women who’ve been the victims of one rake who has compromised them all. These three women have decided that enough is enough, and while they can’t take on society, perhaps—just perhaps—they can change one man. This is the story of his reformation.

This is the story of their revenge.

Sincerely,
Dawn Halliday

But don’t be fooled–The Sweetest Revenge is a romance through and through! The heroine is one of my all-time favorites–the shy and innocent Isabelle Frasier. It’s a fun, verrry sexy story! Don’t miss it!

I’d have to say one of my all time thing to do is spend a day watching all my favorite holiday movies; from Holiday Inn (when Bing FIRST sings WHITE CHRISTMAS) to Miracle on 34th St (the original), White Christmas, Christmas in Conn., all those good old movies, Bells of St Mary’s, Going My Way (yes, I’m a Bing Cosby fan). And I love trying to introduce first my kids, now my grandkids to those same movies. Some they like, some not so much, but I try every year.

My favorite Christmas treat has to be chocolate covered candy made by me, my hubs, my mother-in-law, my aunt and uncle, and my nephew~but he just comes at the end to eat the candy~he doesn’t really help. lol We make the candy every year and have been doing it since I met my hubs about 20 years ago. It’s not really the candy but the memories made that make it my favorite holiday treat. Thanks so much for the chance to get this book. I actually have it featured today as Day 13 in my 25 Days Of Holiday Romances. Thanks again and have a great day!!

My aunt makes a fabulous peanut butter fudge. The family argues over any that is found without a name attached!

Ooh, my fave ‘treat’ is this Filipino food called bibingka, which is a type of rice cake that’s usually only around during Christmas time. Smells so delish and definitely yummy. :D

I’m going to have to say Christmas cookies too. And when my family gets together to decorate my aunt’s cutout cookies is also a treat. :-)

My favorite holiday treat is getting to see all my family members gathered together and having a great time on Christmas day! We are a huge family and we always try to meet up all of us at our grandparents place. It’s the best time I have all year long.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

Hi Jennifer! I’m a big fan of peppermint bark. My MIL makes it and gives it to us every year.

I love all of your books!

My favorite holiday treat has got to be my grandma’s no-bake cookies. She only makes them at Chrismas time for all of us to enjoy throughout the holiday season.

Gayle: I love seeing the excitement on my kids’ faces on Christmas morning. It warms my heart. I hope they’ll always hold happy memories of their childhood Christmases.

Kat: YES! We haven’t done that in a couple of years. We’ll have to do that this year. We have one street in our town that goes all out. Even though we’re in California, they bring in snow so the kids can sled down the sidewalk!

Timitra and Elizabeth: Oh yes, my hips will tell you how much I love Christmas cookies. Especially frosted sugar cookies. Yum!

Amy: What a wonderful Christmas tradition! I want to start doing something like that with my kids!

Mariann: That sounds awesome! I have never made candy, but what a wonderful holiday tradition. And thank you SO much for featuring A SEASON OF SEDUCTION ON YOUR BLOG!

All of you, please email your snail mail addresses to me at jennifer@jenniferhaymore.com and I’ll get the books out asap! THANK YOU SO MUCH for responding, and Merry Christmas!

Jane, Jamie, Louise, Kati and Melody: I love the treats too. It is so hard for me to be “good” during the holidays–I have such a sweet tooth and everything is so yummy! I think my favorites are homemade cookies (sugar with frosting)…oooh, but I love peppermint bark too. And I love drinking hot chocolate by the fire on cold days!

Diana: I don’t know bibingka! But I should, as my husband is Filipino! I’m going to ask my mother in law about it today–hopefully she’ll bring me some on Christmas!

Rahab: Yes, that’s one of my favorite things about Christmas too. Seeing the family gathered together and happy. It’s the best.

Brooke: No-bake cookies? That’s awesome! My grandma used to make the best holiday treats. And thank you–I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed my books :)

All of you–please email me at jennifer@jenniferhaymore.com with your snail mail address, and I’ll get the book out to you. Thanks for responding and happy holidays to you all! Hugs!
