I love getting reader emails. Thanks so much to all of you who have emailed me about A HINT OF WICKED!

By far, the most common question I’m receiving in emails lately, is: When will A TOUCH OF SCANDAL be out?
Answer: April, 2010.

It seems like a long way away. I have to admit, I’d love it if it were to release next month (even though I haven’t finished copyedits yet, lol!). But on the other hand, I know April will be here before we know it.

And I have a special treat to show all of you today:

Isn’t it pretty? I think they did a great job evoking the emotion of the story, and the woman looks exactly like how I imagine the heroine, Kate. (Plus blue and gold were the colors of both my universities!) Anyway, I just love it!

I’m off to the Romance Writers of America annual conference in Washington, D.C.! If you’re in the area, please come visit us! There’s going to be a massive romance writer signing on Wednesday. If not, add a comment about what you think of the ATOS cover (honest opinions, please!), and I’ll randomly select one commenter when I come home to receive a signed copy of A HINT OF WICKED! Have a great week everyone!

Another fabulous cover, Jennifer! But darn, I guess we have to wait until April 2010 to read the next one. I really loved A Hint of Wicked. C-ya in DC!

    Hi Jennifer,
Have fun at RWA! I loved the cover for AHOW, the fushia pink really stood out on the bookshelves, but Touch of Scandal really doesn’t do that for me.

Loved the window with the moon , and the woman seated on the settee, and can see how they link together but I really don’t like the golden orangish yellow. Sorry I know they are your school colors, and don’t mean to be the dissenting voice but I just don’t like that color…at all. Still won’t stop me from buying it when it comes out, but I already read AHOW. Don’t know how it would fair with someone who had not read one of your books before.

Please don’t enter me to win AHOW I already have a copy…now if we were talking Highland Obsession that would be a different story (pun intended) 😉

I think the cover is just okay. It’s pretty in a bland way but it doesnt look related to AHOW with its fresh, spring colors despite the use of the settee.

Also, with the full moon through the window and some of the colors, I could easily mistake it for Emma Holly’s CATCHING MIDNIGHT.

Have fun at the RWA. You dont need me to enter for a copy of AHOW since I already read it, thanks!

I LOVE it, Jennifer. The colors snap, and the pose is dreamy and sexy….perfect for a historical romance, I think. And she’s beautiful!! I like the brighter, bold colors that jump out to me when I’m book shopping.

Lucky you to be going to the conference.
I like the cover for what it portrays but to be honest, the creative side of me says that it would have showed up better if she was sitting on a blue couch with a yellow background. Her dress would show up better. As it is, it seems too yellowish.
I am still going to buy this book because I like the way you write.

That cover looks hot. She looks like an innocent temptress all at the same time. The full moon in the background just makes it sizzle even more. I honestly do not believe I’ve read one of your books before but I would buy that one just for the cover it’s that intriguing. 🙂

About the ATOS cover, I like it, a lot. Except for that things she’s sitting on. I think that maybe a darker color would be great…or maybe even her standing by the window. I’m not into mustard shade.
