Goodreads!

Okay, so this is fun. Goodreads, where people can list and share the books they’ve read and post reviews on all of them. I just joined a couple of days ago, and lo and behold, someone has already read an advance copy of my book and posted a review of it! I’m gobsmacked!

Anyway, I’m thrilled to be on Goodreads, and it seems like a very cool place to connect with other readers and authors, and learn more about the books I’m interested in reading.

A friend extended me an invitation to join this, but I haven’t yet. I already feel like I don’t have enough hours in the day. How do you do it all? Huge congrats on your great review! You whomped the average if I’m understanding that correctly. I can’t wait to read your book!

I do have a goodreads profile…and a myspace, facebook, twitter, and my own personal blog. (Frauke did my blog too) It’s pure insanity…

Jennifer I heard from a friend who got a copy of your book for review that it’s fantastic. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!

Robin, I know, I’m definitely running out of hours in the day! Craziness. But Goodreads, I think, is definitely worth it, especially if you’re a big reader.

Stacy, Isn’t Frauke amazing? You’re right, though, all of these internet interactive sites are wild. And…oh my goodness…hearing that your friend read (and liked) the book is amazing! Thank you for telling me!
